Join Hans Pucket & Ingrid and the Ministers on the Friday night before the beautiful disruption, that is CubaDupa.
Hans Pucket bring an energetic and eclectic set of tunes, featuring three part harmonies, solid power-pop riffs and real lyrics. Formed by twin brothers Oli and Callum Devlin, drummer Jono Nott (ONONO, Broods) the band grew out of a love for classic 60s pop, the earnest melodies of musical theatre, and the solid grooves of 70s disco. Recently expanded to four members with the multi-instrumental talents of Callum Passells - this year will see the release of their second full length album.
Alongside, will be Wellington’s must-see Ingrid and the Ministers for a mind-expanding journey through the mysterious, raw and ultimately uplifting landscapes of love, loss and redemption. Their psychedelic “frock” (folk-rock) music weaves heart-aching intimacy, 60s tinged psychedelia and full-on noisy rock & roll.
