The Musical Electronics Library (M.E.L) is once again happy to present “Office Ambience”. Every second Saturday of the month a different artist will perform in the Audio Foundation’s office space using pieces from the M.E.L catalogue (https://mel.myturn.com/library/inventory/browse). Come down for a look and a listen, perhaps ask a few questions, and browse the M.E.L collection.
The second of these performances will feature the incomparably talented Amelia Berry!
Amelia is a musician, songwriter, and producer based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her projects include breaks-focussed electronica in Amamelia, cathartic emo pop punk in Babyteeth, queer dungeon-synth in Gayblade, and ecstatic happy hardcore in VSB. While covering a wide variety of genres, Amelia’s work shares a common focus on emotive melody and degraded sonic textures.
