Gig Information

Comf (He/They)
Comf embarks on their first national tour bringing their trio of EPs, The Texture Tapes, to three spots: Tāmaki Makaurau, Te Papa-i-Oea, and Pōneke. Playing with a slew of experimental artists across the North Island over July and August, they are excited to bring these tapes to life; a chance to seek catharsis from process with textural synths, cut drums, and disparate vocals in timbre and material.

Comf is an artist utilising experimental electronic as an outlet for bloodletting that weaves an elaborate story of their life and their experiences. After releasing their three EP project, the Texture Tapes, at the end of last year, they have turned their attention to remixes, breaking tracks in half like a glow stick to see what shines.

Van Staden & Böhm (VSB) (She/They)
Tāmaki Makaurau based electronic duo Van Staden & Böhm, is a much needed ecstatic deliverance of lesbian happy hardcore to shift stagnant energies and uplift sapped spirits. A unique blend of UK hardcore production, dizzying pop melodies and devotional queer lyricism.

VSB is comprised of Madison Van Staden and Amelia Berry. Madison is a songwriter and producer best known for her work in sensuous experimental pop group Moody.v & the Menstrual Cycle. Teaming with Amelia Berry, an electronic music producer and songwriter otherwise known as Amamelia. She is also one half of synth-pop duo Fimo and creates ambient soundscapes as Old Chips. Both Madison and Amelia play in queer pop-punk trio Babyteeth.

CRYER (They/them)
CRYER {F.K.A. CHARLIE (OPI)} is a music project (by CHARLIE) exploring honesty, sensitivity, grief, and other emo stuff.

Sounds like: ambient, dream-pop, extreme/outsider metal, avant-folk, noise, field recordings.
THIS SET WILL focus on COLDNESS and the slow movement of winter, chilblains, absence, fear. It shall be a little scary and definitely very sad.

$10 online,
$15 on the Door
