The trio of Portland punk rock party animals Mean Jeans arrive in New Zealand for the first time ever, to perform one show only at Aucklands Whammy Bar With Cindy & Cootie Cuties and a fierce commitment to partying.
Mean Jeans then head across the ditch to rip dates supporting Shed rockers The Chats.
Mean Jeans began in Portland, OR around 2007 and is made up of Billy Jeans, Jeans Wilder, and Junior Jeans. More adept at goofing off than playing instruments, theyve still managed to make a name for them selves with raucous live shows, a hefty discography of records on Dirtnap and Fat Wreck Chords.
After a dozen releases fusing pop punk like Ramones and The Riverdales with garage punk like Marked Men and The Spits, the group literally made an album of unsolicited jingles about beer, crummy chain restaurants, defunct paper supply companies and windshield wiper fluid.
