Inverlochy Cushion Concerts present local bands in the low-key, intimate environment of historic Inverlochy House. Not to worry if a cushion's not your thing...we have chairs!
This June join Wellington wind quintet, Spitfires,
Spitfires play accessible classical music and are all members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band. Members include Rebecca Steel on Flute, Calvin Scott playing the Oboe, Moira Hurst on Clarinet, David Codd on French Horn and Oscar Läven on Basson.
Come, curl up and finish your week with live music. The evening's programme includes:
Paul Hindemith's (1895-1963): Kleine Kammermusik op. 24, no. 2 (1922)
Bizet Jeux d'enfants (Children's Games) Op. 22, is a suite of twelve miniatures composed in 1871
Ibert (1890-1962)Three Pieces
Samuel Scheidt (1587-1654) Bergamasca.
