Weekly Round Up: Friday 24th June

Friday 24th June, 2016 5:30PM

A couple of interesting tour tidbits came through the news this week. Doom fiends were no doubt pleased to hear that Italian psychedelic sludge outfit Ufomammut is joining forces with Sweden's supernatural stoner group MonoLord for two New Zealand shows in October. Unhinged Aussie outfit Kitchen's Floor are coming next month for a huge string of shows. And rising rap star Yung Lean is making his way here for a one-off performance in September.

In release news, this week some amazing videos came through to treat our eyeballs. We were over the moon to premiere the new video from Auckland outfit sere for their tune 'Hazy'. The Veils lifted the lid off their amazing clip for 'Axolotl' directed by local talent Tu Neill. Sigur Ros unveiled one of the most stunning videos we've seen this year for their brand new song 'Overdur'. And this week also brought with it the first song ageing punk rockers The Descendents which came with a pretty damn cool vid too.

This week's Caught Live is Slayer tearing through 'War Ensemble' at Hellfest in France...
