Long-standing post-punk group The Wedding Present kicked off their New Zealand tour with a show at the Kings Arms Tavern last night, supported by Auckland psychospheric drone trio Avoid!Avoid. The Wedding Presents' five-date jaunt on these shores comes on the coattails of the Leeds group releasing their critically acclaimed ninth studio album Going, Going… last year.
