Noel Meek + Cameron Stallones Of Sun Araw Unveil Single 'A Third Tendril'
Wellington sound artist Noel Meek (head of End Of The Alphabet Records) has been keeping busy, alongside his record label duties he dropped the very fine long player We Contain Multitudes in late 2017 and played a raft of shows around the globe in support of that record. He's now unveiled an immersive new cut in collaboration with Cameron Stallones of Sun Araw titled 'A Third Tendril' from upcoming album Adventures in Objecthood, ahead of a quick New Zealand tour alongside Auckland artist Power Nap and a host of special guests including Big Flip The Massive, Trapjaw Kelpie, and Dead C members Bruce Russell & Robbie Yeats. The tune was recorded at Stallones' home in Los Angeles and is a swirling, bubbling whirlpool of sound, psychedelic shapes coalesce and collapse back into primal ooze. Dive deep into 'A Third Tendril'...
You can catch Noel Meek performing at Christchurch's The Gym on Friday 2nd March, Dunedin's None Gallery on Saturday 3rd March, Port Chalmers venue The Anteroom on Sunday 4th March, and Wellington's Meow on Saturday 10th March. Noel Meek and Cameron Stallones' album 'Adventures in Objecthood' is due this year via Buh Records.
