WhyFi. has revealed the soundtrack to the multi-disciplinary Tāmaki Makaurau artist's "coming-of-age anti-visual biopic" TRASH 2: THE MOVIE. Described in conversation with Hunter Keane on 95bFM yesterday as a dumping ground of "subconscious debris," WhyFi.'s ten track collection leads listeners down psychic and sonic alleyways – embracing a gritty palette spanning lo-tech funk, subterranean soul, twilight zone techno, South Pacific guitar melodies and emotionally raw, off-the-dome lyricism ("no competition / just intuition"), with guest contributions from JY Lee and Dalyan RD.
