Listen To Mary Lattimore's 'Blender In A Blender' feat. Roy Montgomery

Returning to Aotearoa this coming December for The Others Way Festival, US harpist and composer Mary Lattimore has today unveiled a new collection of collaborative works entitled Goodbye, Hotel Arkada. Featuring contributions from such luminaries as Lol Tolhurst (The Cure), Meg Baird, Rachel Goswell (Slowdive), Samara Lubelski and Walt McClements, Cantabrian guitar innovator Roy Montgomery features on the album's deeply atmospheric, hazily textured third track 'Blender in a Blender' — "The title refers to the trend of teenagers blending their cell phones; Lattimore and a friend were joking about all stuff that could be blended, including another blender."

Roy Montgomery will be participating in improvisational ensembles next weekend at Audio Foundation's Now!here!this! Ōtautahi festival (he performs on 14th and 15th October).
