Adam Hattaway & The Haunters Unveil 'Anthology 2018-2023' Compilation

Ōtautahi's rock 'n' roll renaissance man Adam Hattaway welcomes us to his world on Anthology 2018-2023, cherry picking highlights from a prolific five years of releases with The Haunters. Not so quietly amassing a five studio album oeuvre, from the rambunctious debut outpourings of 2018's All Dat Love, to Rooster's double record 2021 splendour, to the cheeky soul-rockin' magic of 2022's Bug Eyes, to 2023's bluesy version of 'Keep On' with the legendary Barry Saunders, Hattaway's productivity seems to have known no limit (that's not even including his contribution to Canterbury luminary Al Park's first long player in 20 years Pony).

All taken together, Anthology 2018-2023 makes a undeniable case for Hattaway as both firecracker frontman and empathetic songwriting maestro, even tucking a re-recorded version of 'Nothing Lasts' featuring Jon Toogood of Shihad (originally from 2019's Crying Lessons) into the sixteen strong knapsack of hits — also featuring such UTR office faves as 'I Need Your Needs', 'The Magician', 'Salt' and 'Big Night'. If you've been sealed in a cave for the past five years or simply didn't know where to begin, Anthology 2018-2023 handily provides an ideal entry point into Adam Hattaway & The Haunters' big-hearted sonic universe, soak it up...

'Anthology 2018-2023' is out today on major streaming services.
