Te Huhu Announce 'Deelishis Herbs' Album Release Tour of Aotearoa
Tāmaki Makaurau's magical psych / shoegaze / blues travellers Te Huhu will soon be unleashing the ideal stocking stuffer, their first new album in five years Deelishis Herbs, pressed onto wax and out in full on 1st November via Grubby Records. Enriching our airwaves this year with singles 'Tūrangawaewae', 'Skipping Stones' and 'On Holiday', all of which hit ears like a spectral sonic embrace, Te Huhu will be blazing it up across Te Ika-a-Māui and Te Waipounamu in celebration of their new vinyl LP creation. They'll be joined for nearly all dates by fellow crafter of tunes Leonard Powell — whose debut album Slow Mover was an early 2024 standout.
The musical fellowship's adventure will take them from 1st November to the (hopefully) sun-soaked first month of 2025, including an appearance at The Others Way Festival on Karangahape Road, and a wave-cruisin' set on the Interislander ferry. Admire the beaut tour poster designed by Callum Rooney, which of course is available as a lush t-shirt, pre-order the vinyl LP edition of Deelishis Herbs HERE and grab a ticket today...

Press release:
Auckland’s Te Huhu prep their new album Deelishis Herbs following a string of singles that have drawn listeners into their woozy psychedelic sound. “On Holiday,” the band’s latest, lulls us into their humid wonderland with a hypnotic chant vocal over melted guitars, piano, and the slow snap of drums. Picking at the “Planet Caravan” template and setting it aloft on a plume of smoke, the song works its vocal repetitions into a mantra that gives their psychedelics a meditative glow. The new album, Deelishis Herbs, is out November 1st from Grubby Records.
