Mortal Sin (AUS) Touring Aotearoa New Zealand with Bulletbelt
Legends of Aussie thrash Mortal Sin will play in Aotearoa New Zealand for the first time ever this winter, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their classic debut album Mayhemic Destruction in Tāmaki Makaurau, Te Whanganui-a-Tara and Ōtautahi. Still helmed by co-founders Mat Maurer and Andy Eftichiou, with more recent recruits Nathan Shea, Ryan Huthnance, and George Delinicolis, Mortal Sin achieved global recognition when their first record landed in 1986. Invited to tour in support of such titans as Metallica (on their Damaged Justice tour), Megadeth (on their Rust in Peace tour) and Testament in the late '80s and early '90s, Mortal Sin have reactivated following over a thirteen year hiatus. Make your pilgrimage to witness these deities of Australasian shred on local stages this July, joined for all three dates by local metal overlords Bulletbelt — brought to you by Valhalla Touring...

Press release:
Having toured alongside thrash heavyweights Metallica and Testament in their early years, Mortal Sin forged their legacy in the global metal scene from the very beginning. Formed in 1985, they carved their name into the foundations of thrash with a ferocious, high-energy sound that stood shoulder to shoulder with the genre’s elite.
After years of silence, the band has reformed — returning to the stage with the same intensity and aggression that made them icons of the era.
This marks their first ever shows on New Zealand soil, and the timing couldn’t be more fitting — celebrating 40 years of their debut album Mayhemic Destruction, a landmark release that helped define Australian metal and continues to influence generations.
Joining them on all dates are New Zealand’s own Bulletbelt, delivering their uncompromising, relentless live assault.
Three nights. No filler. Pure thrash.
