Watch Greta O'Leary's Video For New Single 'Year Of The Dog'
Gazing through her crystal ball, both backwards in time and at our present era, Greta O'Leary croons "I was born in the Year of the Dog" in her first new single since last year's chart-hitting debut album River Dark. Barreling onwards like a country rock choo-choo train, the chugging tune situates O'Leary's own personal touchstones in relation to the Chinese zodiacal calendar, co-produced with Jol Mulholland at the Lab Studios.
O'Leary roams the great outdoors like a frolicking free spirit in the accompanying video for 'Year of the Dog', co-directed by the Tāmaki Makaurau songwriter and Adam Rohe, who also shot and produced the clip. Made with support from NZ On Air, hit play on O'Leary's uplifting new creation and join her playing all about the motu this winter, starting Saturday at Vogelmorn Bowling Club in the capital with Michaela Tempers...
"'Year of the Dog' is animal spirit, it’s racing forwards and upwards, fast and free. It's renewal".
