World-renowned UK darkwave, industrial, and post-punk innovators ATTRITION have released their long-awaited new album, ‘The Black Maria’ (Two Gods Records, March 2024), to widespread critical acclaim. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, ATTRITION are about to embark on their AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND TOUR in October-November 2024, and are excited to conclude the eleven-date tour in Auckland. Returning to Auckland for the first time since 2018, ATTRITION and guests play at THE TUNING FORK on Saturday 9 November.
ATTRITION are joined on tourdates across Australia and New Zealand by Canadian ritual-ambient/ethereal project SUBTERRANEA, and at The Tuning Fork by the post-industrial devotional drone of Tāmaki Makaurau’s own VIHIL, and energetic local post-punk outfit GLASS CELL.
