The Every Conservatoire and Etta Every Present Part Two: Fire

‘Part Two: Fire’ is the second in a five-part series exploring the Pandora’s Box myth through music, clothing and the arts.

This time around, music and fashion are the focus, and we’re excited to have three great local acts on board alongside The Every Conservatoire’s in-house band The May Project: Narentines, the new act of seasoned Auckland musicians Ben King, Milan Borich and Francis Hunt, Kip McGrath, a local indie-pop band on the rise, and Guantanamo Babes, a cyber punk dance core newly-formed three-piece consisting of Levi Wenzlick, Ben Bartlett of Vanguard One, and Luke Oram.

Etta Every, the in-house clothing label of The Every Conservatoire, will be staging a fashion show during the night featuring their latest capsule collection.

The Every Conservatoire, Etta Every and The May Project

Etta Every and The May Project are two strands of Aucklander Katie Brown’s creative vision. The one informs the other, and they interweave to depict a concept: Etta Every communicates it via fashion as a clothing brand, and The May Project band communicates it through music.

The Every Conservatoire is a new initiative where Katie is broadening and rounding out these multi-faceted concepts by inviting different artists, musicians and creatives on board to collaborate and bring each conceptual vision to life alongside what she is doing with Etta Every and The May Project. The focus for The Every Conservatoire is on live shows, soon to be supported by an online platform.
