Celtic Caim are Pauline Vallance from Scotland and Heather Innes now living in New Zealand. Their music has been described by audience members as hauntingly “beautiful harmony singing” which can be a capella or accompanied by clasarch, flute, or bodhrán. Their concert set is an eclectic mix of Celtic Scottish songs, songs written by various songwriters including Pauline’s own songs and the occasional song written by Heather. Add to that a jig or reel here and there performed on flute and bodhrán for you to get your feet tapping, and their concerts are not to be missed.
Old School Arts Centre, 5 Stewart Street, Raglan. Doors open 7pm. Concert 7.30 - 9.30 with 15 min interval. Wheelchair, parking & toilets accessible.
