This Christmas, music meets purpose. Black Creatives Aotearoa presents JingleBeatz! UBUNTU, the fourth edition of Auckland’s much-loved festive celebration. This year, we’re gathering to raise funds for the future of Black creative genius in Aotearoa.
Join us for a joyful night of live music, DJ sets and community spirit as we reimagine Christmas classics through African musical traditions. Returning JingleBeatz! favourite Anesu Maforimbo of NESU PRODUCED curates the line-up bringing together the best of Afro-Kiwi talent, festive favourites and infectious dance rhythms.
Co-hosted by Dione Joseph, Founder and Artistic Director of Black Creatives Aotearoa, and David Erons, creator and host of Chats with Erons, the evening promises vibrant performances, laughter, connection and celebration.
UBUNTU: I am because we are
This year’s theme celebrates the Southern African philosophy of shared humanity and collective responsibility. Every ticket helps sustain Black Creatives Aotearoa’s work, nurturing our creative community and creating opportunities for Black artists. At a time of significant arts funding cuts, your support helps this work continue.
Bring your friends, your whānau and your dancing shoes!
All ages welcome!
Gather together. Give together. Grow together.
