This July, Auckland based punks Miss June, and Dunedin brats Astro Children, come together to release and tour a split seven inch. Succeeding Miss June’s Matriarchy and Astro Children’s Plain and Fancy Killings, the two bands have bonded over a shared love of searing guitars, petulance, and fervent live performances. The seven inch features Miss June’s ‘Anxiety on Repeat’, a frantic, explosive sprint that holds nothing back, and Astro Children’s ‘When You Lose’, a pounding, sludgy trek through the ever-present angst that brings these two tracks and bands together. Miss June and Astro Children will be touring New Zealand in July with dates in Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland.
