Grout Presents: ghost wave, Sea Views & Roy Irwin
Bringing together elements of that classic Flying Nun jangle, the danceable beats of 90's Britain and a dubby psychadelic groove, ghost wave are onto a pretty good thing. Sea Views is another one of those sneaky great Auckland supergroups featuring members from the likes of Fazerdaze, The Naenae Express, Eyes No Eyes, Trip Pony, Greenfog, just to name a few. Singer Benjamin Locke's moody vocals are carried along by dreamy, shoe-gazey guitars that we can confirm, do indeed make you think of Sea Views. Essential beach at sundown music.

Roy Irwin's prolific solo releases have seen him dip into a lo-fi, garage songwriter bent that swings between and upbeat guitar melodies and an endearing sense of apathy. Word on the street is that Roy will have his full band in tow and in the meantime his Instagram (@bukkake_boy) is a real treat.
