Why it’s important right now?
We all know consumerism and waste isn't cool, buying ‘things’ doesn’t always make us happy, and that there are many challenges to change our habits to treat mother N’, her oceans, and our home with the respect it deserves.

What better time than Christmas, which is notorious for waste, to build the conversation and discover how to live more mindfully of our impact. Or if nothing else, listen to some good music & meet some rad people doing rad things, and go home with a tool kit for yourself or a gift for another to start a journey on using less plastic.

Money goes to?
All ticket profits go to Sustainable Coastlines a multi-award winning New Zealand charity run by a team of hard-working staff and a network of passionate volunteers and collaborators.

Their mission is to enable people to look after the coastlines and waterways they love.
We love our coasts and we work with our sleeves rolled up to keep them beautiful. Sustainable Coastlines coordinate and support large-scale coastal clean-up events, educational programs, public awareness campaigns and riparian planting projects.

Who is Tread Lightly?
Tread Lightly started with 2 humans (Britt and Kiran) who wanted to empower their loved ones this Christmas on waste and thought that others might want to do the same.

Tread Lightly gift packs give an introduction to a lifestyle shift towards less plastic and more reusables. The idea is to build conversation, give tools, and give a gift that the planet will be proud of this festive season.

We're just 2 humans 👬 with 100 boxes 🎁 wanting to spread awareness at this special time of year 🤶
