Mothers dearest are ‘Wellington’s premier abrasive Post-Punk band,’ according to Radioactive FM, and they’re headlining Wednesday’s show at San Fran. They have played their loud and unapologetic driving guitar music at Eyegum: A Gathering in the forest 2018 as well as supporting Bakers Eddy on their ‘17 Summer tour. The band was put together by Frazer, the main creative influence and songwriter who is moving to Christchurch in mid-March, only to play during their upcoming South Island tour.

Charlieso is an underground ambient glitch artist from Christchurch who experiments with music, glitch art, projection, film and commentary on the influence of social media. Recently, Cha Le AKA Charlieso has featured on the Something Dope podcast as well as releasing a track with singer/songwriter Neil MacLeod. Cha Le recently lost all of their music when the files on his laptop got corrupted. Everything that was not uploaded to his Soundcloud has been lost, including his old live sets, and unperformed material.
This show is proudly supported by San Fran and Aro Creative, a Wellington Incorporated Society with the intention to work with the same artists to create a body politic of, and symbiosis between, Wellington’s creative people.
The doors will open at 8:00pm, and San Fran will have drink specials as part of their Wednesday night to be kind the student budget. As well as that, this stellar gig is FREE ENTRY(R18)
