Gig Information

Despite the indifference of mainstream media in New Zealand, Harvey is an irrepressible character who just keeps doing it.
Through his various bands an now performing mainly as an acoustic duo, Gary has become known for his strong blues roots, but after a lifetime in the business his music has become very eclectic.

His bands have always had a strong presence in the live music scene, with numerous festivals, tours and TV appearances, he remains active recording and producing new material the latest of which he will feature in the show. The last release with the Gary Harvey Band, Ghost Dance has been critically acclaimed and is available on iTunes and Spotify. Currently For What Its Worth remains his most commercially successful album.
Along with Nigel Major from the legendary Riverhead Slide on guitar, (a genuine legend in his own lunchtime), a few tall stories, self depreciating sense of humour, music from the junkyard should make for an entertaining afternoon. Cover Charge $10.
