Carol Bean is a blues-based singer songwriter living in Wellington. She grew up in California. Influenced by the West Coast music of the 60s, she took guitar lessons from Dave Cohen (Country Joe and the Fish), and Ry Cooder, who helped her to buy her old 0021 Martin guitar which she has carted around the world. With three albums to her name, she has a wealth of original material. Over the last twenty years, Carol has performed at music festivals around NZ and one roots festival in Australia.
Mark will do a warm-up set, & also play with Carol during hers. There\'s no door charge but a koha teapot will be on the counter & your contributions for the musicians are greatly appreciated. There may also be CDs for sale.
The fire will be going & Moth the cafe cat may make his presence felt. It\'d be great to see you, & please pass the word & bring your friends - Cafe One2One is not your average venue.
