Gig Information

Nation venture north to Auckland to play at Anthology Lounge. Come participate in the neo-soul, funk, rock fusion crafted in NZs capital.

Opening up the night is acoustic soul veteran Nofo Lameko. A gifted musician and vocalist as well as a top class entertainer of X Factor fame.

The journey of a young soulful songwriter travelling the land of Aotearoa.

His adventure fates him amidst the company of a fabled guitarist of wicked speed & mythical skill, a jazz-hot drummer who can warp time itself & a bass playing guru who lost himself in the groove long ago.

A spell casting manager and the trustiest-steed-of-a-sound-man help this fusion of an outfit fly the banner NATION as the travel the country on their quest to make New Zealand dance again.

Nation are a visually explosive & captivating live performance with a high energy presence and wonderful musicality. They holster a broadly varied setlist of original tunes scattered with influences from a diverse number of artists such as Jamiroquai, Dangelo, KORA & Dirty Loops.

Huge heavy synths, intricate guitar lines & wild solos, a groove smothered rhythm section, and soaring vocals seem to fall in and out of each others way in clockwork precision. Nation are on a quest for a true sound of their own.
