‘Save Our Kauri’ Charitable Trust is very proud to present Tiki Taane’s One Man Band Show live in concert, in Titirangi for the first time on Saturday 5th October, with support from DJ, KP of Sunshine Sound System.
Tiki is a performer whose musical stylings traverse dubstep, reggae, drum n bass and hip-hop and pop. He’s a dynamic artist with an international reputation, as an original member of Salmonella Dub and with a solo career with multi-platinum selling albums and ground-breaking videos. His extensive portfolio as a producer includes acts such as Shapeshifter and Six60. This is guaranteed to be a very special evening.
Tiki will perform his “One Man Band” show as a fundraiser and to unify the community around the important issue of protecting Kauri for our future generations.
Kauri are under threat of extinction from disease and inadequate laws.
Over 27,000 people signed the online petition protesting the felling of the iconic Titirangi Kauri named “Awhi Awhi” attracting National and International attention and awaking a nation to the threat our national taonga faces.
