Music legend Paul Ubana Jones takes us back to where it all began with a rendition of his self-titled debut album.
Discover the process and backstory of each track as Paul unfolds his seminal first album at Wellington Museum’s special one night show.
Winner of three New Zealand Music awards, Paul Ubana Jones boasts an impressive four-decade career and has shared the stage with Bob Dylan, Norah Jones, BB King and many more soulful icons.
Born in London to a Yorkshire mother and a Nigerian father, Paul was playing the guitar by the age of 11. After years of classical training, Paul later forged his own contemporary style, influenced by blues, rock, folk and jazz.
In the late eighties, he moved to New Zealand and produced the album that would change his life forever.
Bring your copy of the 1988 record and get it signed by Paul at this one night only, koha event!
