Kiwi singer Jennifer K. Austin will be performing her newly released album on Thursday the 28th of January at The Wine Cellar. This album was released on the 4th of December and has been fully written by herself and produced by Akshay Raju from Depot Sound Recording Studio. This album has been highly influenced by her life story from the birth of her child to the struggles of being a musician.
Journey
Her new album “Journey” has been cooking in the incubator for 4 years waiting to be birthed. This album holds 10 versatile tracks ranging from downtempo piano dark ballads to upbeat ho down country hits. This is truly a multicultural experience. Taking inspiration from listening to her father playing his country set list as a kid while blasting 90's tunes she grew up with. All of this is captured in “Journey.” Jennifer has poured her diary into her music and hopes to inspire others to reconnect with their memoire.
