Secrets of the Sun have charmed with their dark, ethereal melodies and heavy soundscapes. Refusing to be held down to one genre, they use their music as an opportunity to explore sounds and styles with inspiration from a multitude of sources. Celebrating the release of their debut album, Obon, Secrets of the Sun explores everything from insomnia to a letter home.

To play you out we have our sibling band Planet Hunter, co-headlining! Often lead by an eyeball and an explosion of colour, they've been referred to as one of the best acts in Pōneke. Planet Hunter's music has been described as sludge infested water with plenty of driving drums and lush guitar.

Post gaze: dense, melodic and dissonant. Also from Wellington, Column of Sand released an EP in February last year, tilted 'Head Damage'. So they fit in well with SOTS and PH, based on that EP title alone.
