Luis Sharp is a 20 year old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently in his 3rd year studying commercial music at Massey. He prides himself on his many ambitious endeavours throughout his musical journey. Releasing his debut single as a 16 year old highschool student and following up with his debut album only 3 years later. He is currently working with W.K Bookclub to produce new music as an indie musician and hopes to bring good vibes and jams to the Wellington music scene.
Having all been students at the now-defunct Te Auaha Music Course, the four-piece band ‘Pout’ found each other just in time to forge a new path. Their songs pull from a mix of alternative genres (punk, grunge, hardcore) and are grounded in a shared enthusiasm for staple bands of the 90s such as Alice in Chains and Nirvana. With each member having a variety of main loves ranging from 70s punk, 80s metal, Britpop, Balladeers, Old-School Bluegrass, Psychedelic, who knows where their sound will lead? With Lochlan Lewisway on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Zadie Hurrell on Lead Guitar, Shaun Harty on Drums and Mia Yule on Bass and Vocals.
Killrex is a dashing young rap prodigy who loves a wiggle and a boogie on some funky tunes. He's a full time industrial abseil technician for work and in his free time loves to rock climb and write music. He's currently working with the W.K book club on developing and performing a tremendous live show.
