Gig Information

BREAKING SOUND has expanded to Cassette Nine in the heart of Auckland. We showcase the hottest emerging artists and bands in premium locations around the city!

We are so excited to be bringing Tamaki Makaurau this insane line up of up and coming artists! Thursday 21st December we will be showcasing: Gegenpress, Napoleon Baby, ESMONDE, Jack Moser & PAT

A little about the artists:

Gegenpress
Gegenpress is a four-piece indie-pop rock outfit hailing from the northern shores of Tāmaki Makaurau. Like the European football style of play from which it takes its name, the band is all about bringing high intensity to the New Zealand music scene.

Napoleon Baby
Napoleon Baby is a song writing concoction of Antipodean and European inspired life. Presently residing in Tamaki Makaurau, playing songs about living in a different reality far away from the world. Influenced by from Nina Simone - Television, Edith Piaf - Queens of the Stone Age.

ESMONDE
We’re a rock band from Auckland that wants to revive & keep the traditional spirit rock sound of the 90s & early 2000s and it should never be forgotten by all means. I hope you love us as unconditionally as we do, let’s conquer this journey together, all for one and one for all, this is Esmonde.

Jack Moser
Jack Moser, an indie songwriter, fearlessly channels his personal experiences into heartfelt songs. With an unwavering commitment to authenticity, he bares his soul into each and every song.

PAT
A young and promising Polish-born artist PAT is a great representation of a modern, strong female voice with a knack for songwriting. Her music plays with Pop and different genres creating a unique experience for the listener. Being only 19 years old, PAT’S goal is to reach a wider, international audience thanks to her diverse cultural background and songs that are catchy and relatable.

See you on the dance floor!
