With over 100,000 records sold, eleven solo albums, and a 30-year international career that’s bridged jazz, house, and electronic music, Nathan Haines has helped shape the sound of modern Aotearoa and left his mark on dancefloors and in studios across the globe. From years immersed in London’s club culture to collaborations with music legends, he continues to influence and elevate both the local and international music landscape.
Following the release of his eleventh studio album Notes, Nathan played sold-out shows at London’s Jazz Cafe and Auckland’s Powerstation (November 2024), collaborated with Chaos in the CBD (UK), and received global DJ support with acclaimed remixes from Atjazz and Crackazat. In December, he delivered a full two-hour guest set and interview on Gilles Peterson’s iconic Worldwide FM - further cementing his position at the heart of the international scene.
This May, he brings it all to The Stables Matakana in a unique DJ/live set built for the dancefloor. Expect a genre-blurring mix - from disco to broken beat to deep, soulful club sounds - all threaded with his live saxophone and flute. The set will feature reimagined originals, unreleased edits, and selections from the global producer network Nathan has championed and helped shape.
