A cornerstone of Aotearoa’s musical landscape, Shayne P. Carter has led some of the country’s most influential acts from the teenage punk of Bored Games and the noise-pop force of The DoubleHappys, to the genre-defining Straitjacket Fits and the ever-evolving Dimmer. With a storied solo career and countless side projects to his name, Carter is now the subject of Margaret Gordon’s new documentary Life in One Chord, premiering in cinemas across the motu as part of the New Zealand Film Festival.
To mark the occasion, the award-winning songwriter and author returns to the stage for a special solo performance.
