Weekly Round Up: Friday 14th August

Friday 14th August, 2015 3:33PM

This week in tour news, experimental folk musician Richard Dawson announced four New Zealand shows for October. Coming to these shores for the first time ever is seminal hardcore punk group Gorilla Biscuits from New York. Bluesman Big Daddy Wilson is returning to the country for an extensive 21-date tour to support his new album Time Out. Londoners Mumford & Sons announced one show for November. Pop-punk group Sleeping With Sirens have locked down a date for one all-ages gig next month. And the first line-up for this year's Southern Fork Americana Fest was revealed, and includes Dawes, Wagons and Jamestown Revival.

In local release news, a re-incarnated Pumice unveiled a new single along with news of an album due to drop next month. Wellington's Glass Vaults premiered 'West Coast' as they near the released date for their debut LP Sojourn. Also from the capital city Hans Pucket revealed a new single from upcoming EP Jalapeno, along with a bunch of tour dates for a jaunt kicking off later this month. Further abroad, Lou Barlow (of Sebadoh and Dinosaur Jr fame) shared the excellent lead single 'Moving' from his forthcoming solo album. LA punk group Fidlar dropped an alien abduction-themed video while unveiling new cut 'Drone' from their second album Too, coming out next month. And Baltimore's Beach House unveiled two new songs on their website, but the catch is you have to use their built-in 'Single Finder' to decide which is best for you.

This week's Caught Live is Unknown Mortal Orchestra performing 'Multi-Love' on Late Night With Seth Meyers...
