Weekly Round Up: Friday 26th May

Friday 26th May, 2017 4:30PM

Things were a little quiet on the tour news front this week, but we were delighted to announce that Leeds trio alt-J are heading this way for two shows in December in the wake of releasing their third studio album, Relaxer. Atlanta rapper Future revealed the date for one New Zealand show in September. Punk supergroup Me First and The Gimme Gimmes announced two North Island knees ups in October. Oakland free noise duo The Blues are coming over for a wee jaunt with Auckland friends File Folder next month. And on the local front, The Miltones have lined-up a 10-date tour to celebrate the release of their debut album.

In release news highlights, we got the privilege of unveiling the new video from Dion Lunadon for his shredding cut 'Howl', plucked from his upcoming debut album. Also in visual offerings, Chelsea Jade rolled out a low-key dance clip for her latest tune 'Life Of The Party'. Auckland psych-surf trio Echo Ohs let loose their awesome new cut 'Hot Pockets' as a wee taster from their upcoming record. The dream weavers that comprise Magic Factory lifted the lid on their new tune 'Sweet Ride'. From further abroad EMA shared the intense lead single from her forthcoming album Exile In The Outer Ring. And in album streams, you can now sink your teeth into the long-awaited EP from settee-loving Auckland collective Couchmaster over here.

This week's Caught Live is The Bats, as captured by videographer Paul Robertson at The Kings Arms last weekend!!
