Let’s Back Up a Bit: Conversations with Pioneering Kiwi Christian Musicians is a new collection of interviews by Brett Wilson.
This concert celebrates the release of the book and features three of the bands interviewed; Hoi Polloi, the Revs, and Derek Lind.
Other artists interviewed include Steve Apirana, Phil Joel (Drinkwater/Newsboys), David Garratt (Scripture in Song) and Stephen Bell-Booth. Each artist gives give a ‘warts and all’ snapshot of the Christian music scene in New Zealand in the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s.
