A songwriter from Auckland’s North Shore, Andrew Healey started out singing and playing guitar for covers and original bands. Then, for many years, he oscillated between intimate gigs as a solo singer-guitarist and extravagant shows as a crooner for the jazz-swing quartet Standard Deviation.
In recent times, has focused his talents to the craft of songwriting. And his efforts yielded ‘Parallel World,’ a melodic 11-track album about his take on life in the twenty-first century.
Andrew’s music has appeared in T.V. and film, and he co-wrote ‘Call me up’, the theme song for a show on Radio Live.
With his four-piece band, Andrew will perform songs from ‘Parallel World’ as well as some well-loved classics from artists who have inspired him over the years.
