QUIVERS (Hobart/Melbourne) make lyric-based guitar-pop sort of descended from 80s/90s jangle and earlier Americana/lost songwriter sounds. Touring NZ for the first time, this Auckland show re-unites Quivers with the catchy-as-hell melodic pop of TWO CARTOONS. Only a year ago both bands were in London sharing shows and sometimes members! Rounding out the night into being GOOD TIMES is the scuzzy, incandescent and very fresh DATELINE.
