Bass player to many - Chip Matthews has played and recorded with jazz, soul, R&B, hip hop and pop luminaries such as Che Fu, Opensouls, Anika Moa, Homebrew, Julien Dyne's Cirlces Trio, and the New Loungehead among many others. Chip was there at the start of legendary Auckland station BaseFM - and hosted the Breakfast show there for six years. As a killer DJ, Chip holds it down on the decks at select venues about the city.
