Funk and Blues singer-guitar player Oscar LaDell and his band Rollercoaster are coming up to ChCh to debut some new recordings.
Support from bluesy locals Two Bishop Cult. Come on down to the legendary Darkroom on Thursday the 14th for some funky, heavy sounds.

Oscar LaDell and Rollercoaster are a dynamic and fiery three piece band, blending soul, funk and blues in a sound that is fresh and original. In the space of one of LaDell’s original songs, the sound can range from a gentle slow-dance to explosive and hypnotic guitar solos. Front-man Oscar’s powerful and expressive guitar playing and soulful singing act as one and are backed by Leo LaDell’s funky bass playing and the crackling energy of Jim Strang’s drums.
