Chris Prosser (violin), Julie Bevan (nylon string guitar, viola caipira) and Simon O'Rorke (virtual instruments).
Two sets by longstanding improv trio Prosser/Bevan/O'Rorke. Instead of his usual software synths, Simon O'Rorke's keyboard and pedals will be manipulating a variety of virtual acoustic instruments, both acoustically modelled and sampled, such as the Ample Sound Upright Bass you can seen on the screen in the photo. Julie Bevan plans to bring her viola caipira, a Brazilian 10-string guitar, in addition to her 6-string instrument. And Chris Prosser has swapped his nylon violin strings for steel ones, which give a more immediate and direct sound.
