Music in Parks is stoked to be setting up beach-side in Mission Bay, so come enjoy the local restaurants and cafes, then get your groove on with powerhouse duo Che Fu and King Kapisi (Hedlok), dance hall queen Rubi Du, Rei and Flaxxies. This will be a fantastic event for the whole crowd.
Che Fu & King Kapisi need little introduction. These local legends are two of the most versatile Hiphop, Reggae, Dancehall and R&B vocalists in the country.
Boasting heavy basslines and melodic vocals, Rubi Du (formerly SilvaMC) is taking over the beach with her South Pacific reggae and dancehall. Also hitting the Mission Bay stage is Rei – with over nine million Spotify streams, six Waiata Māori Awards and four NZ Music Awards nominations, Rei is carving out his space with inspiring, fun AF sounds.
The Flaxxies round out this fantastic line-up with their fusion of reggae, classic blues and fast & loose rock n’ roll with dub elements. Get your sunscreen and get there!
