The Avalanches Share 'Because I'm Me' Remix Collection
Monday 26th February, 2018 9:59AM
Melbourne’s savvy sons of sampledelica The Avalanches have shared four (count ‘em, four) fresh remixes of their classic tune ‘Because I'm Me', plus a Zero Percent remix of ‘The Noisy Eater’ (which appeared on the crew’s long-awaited 2016 album Wildflower). Remix contributors range from English electronic duo Bondax, to the US’ Dam-Funk, to rapper Black Milk and experimental poet Moor Mother. The collection drives home the art and versatility of modern day sample manipulation, a process and wider ethos that serves as a cornerstone to The Avalanches’ sound. You can catch the duo tearing it up at this weekend's Auckland City Limits 2018 festival, listen to the remixes below...
