(Sandy) Alex G has followed up on his beguiling student radio fave 'Gretel' with 'Hope', the latest teaser for the Philadelphian artist's upcoming new album House of Sugar, releasing on Friday the 13th this September. With a spring in its step, 'Hope' walks a relatively more straight ahead jangle-pop /neo-folk line than the enigmatic songwriter's previous tune, yet still provides plenty of eerie and emotive side-avenues for listeners to explore. The street-side bouncing puppet in the accompanying clip for 'Hope' is both jolly and totally creepy, wrap your eyes and ears around the new video...
'House Of Sugar' is out on Friday 13th September via Domino.
