C.C. / Tuesday 17th March, 2020 2:00PM

In a well-timed ray of musical sunshine, Milwaukee alt-folk icons Violent Femmes have revealed new dates for their eagerly awaited Aotearoa, including a newly announced Christchurch show. Originally scheduled for this coming month, the core team of singer / guitarist Gordon Gano and bassist Brian Ritchie with drummer Victor DeLorenzo have rescheduled their March NZ events due to the ongoing coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. We chatted with Ritchie about a lifetime in music and his work as music curator for cutting-edge annual festival Mona Foma, along with contributing to its winter Dark Mofo programme – read that interview here and scope out Violent Femmes' newly updated tour details below...

UPDATE: "Due to the ongoing global crisis, and to be as cautious with the health and safety of our fans, road crew and ourselves, we have decided to cancel the Australia / New Zealand tour. Refunds will be issued from point of purchase." - Violent Femmes
