Lineup Announced For Going Global Presents 2022 Artist Showcase

More special guest speakers have been revealed for this year's Going Global Music Summit, returning to Tāmaki Makaurau's Roundhead Studios on 2nd and 3rd September, along with the full lineup for the concluding Artist Showcase event at Whammy Bar, The Wine Cellar and Backroom. Offering attendees "further education, inspiration and the chance to connect to the global music industry for those ready to take their next step on to the world stage," 2022's boutique conference welcomes along nine new international and local speakers, who'll be sharing their own firsthand experiences and hard-bitten music industry know-how, alongside keynote speaker multi-Grammy Award winning producer Che Pope,

Artists invited to perform at 2022's Showcase are Tāmaki Makaurau hip hop & RnB artist Aidan Fine, Ōtautahi pop songwriter ASHY, Pōneke punk rock dynamos DARTZ, alt-pop / rock provocateur Emma Dilemma, 2022 Silver Scroll finalist Georgia Lines, dreamscape songwriter / producer Heavy Chest (named by Benee as one of her favourite local artists), taonga pūoro practitioners IA, Auckland Live Best Independent Debut Award winner Jazmine Mary, Ōtepoti songwriter Neive Strang, Nashville-based multi-media artist Proteins Of Magic (Kelly Sherrod), four time Māori Music Award winner Rei and student radio chart-topper WHO SHOT SCOTT.

The new speakers announced today for the Summit are Amine Ramer (Music Supervisor, States of Sound, US/NZ), Amy Davidman (Booker, TBA Agency, USA), Dev Sherlock (SXSW Senior Music Programmer, USA), Marion Pennier Briand (YouTube Music AUNZ, France/AU), Millie Millgate (Executive Producer, Sounds Australia AU), Poppy Reid (Managing Editor, The Brag / Rolling Stone AU/NZ), Rachel Kelly (VP of Operations, UTOPIA AU), Robin Jenssen (CEO & Co-Founder, EKKO Music Rights, Norway/USA) and Tom Larkin (BIGSOUND / The Home Surgery / Shihad, NZ/AU).
