Gig Information

Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters The Death Spell will be playing live for you aural pleasure on 4th Dec @ The Wine Cellar, Auckland.

Formed in late 2020, a classic, heavy, retro, explosive pscyh rock band, The Death Spell is to debut in Wine Cellar. Sounding in command of their music, The Death Spell embodies the vintage sounds of their predecessors while calling on imagery derived from magic, horror films and the occult like some dark 70s psych trip. Together the power trio forms a unique symbiosis, challenging each other to fill the sonic space between them when the curtain goes up. Their retro style, incorporating psych, stoner rock and retro rock and doom has been compared to bands of the 1970s hard rock and heavy metal era.

The Deaths Spell will be supported by JANG.

“JANG are what Minor Threat would sound like if they had a gunfight in a forgotten town of The Old West while riding surfboards”
