NOYZ BOYZ - So, a bit about us... Noyz Boyz is a 4-piece formed in 2023, composed of Dan Yurak (lead vox, guitar), Trizzo Burke (lead guitar, bv's), Stephen Tauaniga (bass, bv's) and Troy Rayner (drums). Music influences are very eclectic within the band, ranging from 50's garage rock, reggae, to new wave, 90's alternative grunge and so forth. 'Mid-life crisis DIY Tradie Rock' is probably the best description of our sound IMO.
MECUZINE – Auckland duo Joseph Johns (Guitar/Vocals) and Tony Johns (Guitar/BVs) formed the band Mecuzine in 2016. They've garnered high praise from critics with two albums: Cutting Strings (2018) and Locksmith Thief (2022). Their latest single, Ordinary Objects, marks their return after two years, offering a glimpse into their upcoming album, Wait Until it's Finished. Ordinary Objects Tells the narrative of searching and belonging. The act of skimming stones becomes a metaphor for navigating life's uncertainties, Engineered, and produced by Mecuzine themselves, the single showcases their trademark harmonies, evocative storytelling, and seamless blend of indie and alternative rock, exemplifying their mastery of songwriting and sound production.
