Colette Rivers:
An alternative country-folk artist at heart, New Zealand-American songwriter Colette Rivers brings together an eclectic mix of acoustic and electric instrumentation to share her music that is a fusion of uplifting and melancholic. Rivers’ voice shivers with the raw expressiveness of greats like Bruce Springsteen or Tori Amos, and a sharp edge that evokes the likeness of Aimee Mann or Gillian Welch.
Wolfgang Bird:
Come see irreverent Wellington imagist poet and songster WolfGangBird charging out of the closet with a six-string to bring you his full set of lyrically-intense musical storyworlds. Think somewhere between Captain Beefheart, Peter Gabriel and LSD.
This is a night of great folk music not to be missed!
