Weekend NZ Livestream Events Guide

TGIF! It's time to really lean into that new hobby you've taken up and indulge in your carefully rationed supply of supermarket beers, while you set your best screen up for a weekend teeming with streaming. The next couple of days sees not one, not two, but THREE online festivals, a live set from Nadia Reid tonight, the continuation of Pukekohe duo Aro's virtual tour, and a special Sunday online screening of Beastwars' momentous 2018 reunion concert at Wellington's San Fran.

Canterbury champs Melted Ice Cream have locked in more than 30 top notch acts for tonight and tomorrow from 4.30pm, including Marlon Williams, Lawrence Arabia, Charlotte Forrester of Womb, Pickle Darling, Robert Scott and Mousey to name a few. Girls Rock! Pōneke will no doubt have folks setting up a second screen for Homemade Jams, with ten magical acts taking the virtual stage from 2pm onwards today (that's right now in fact), for a mixed berry preserve of Julia Deans, Motte, Sports Dreams and more. Tonight's also the first day of Young & Slept On Vol. 3: Lockdown Festival, running right through til next Friday, showcasing a selection of Aotearoa's mega talented RnB and hip-hop rising stars.
